Cripps Recreation Centre

Cripps Recreation Centre in Northampton underwent a full-scale gym refurbishment, bringing state-of-the-art cardio, strength, and functional training equipment from TRUE Fitness to the facility.

 

The project aimed to modernise the existing gym, maximise equipment variety, and create an inviting environment for users of all fitness levels.

 

Daniel Cullum, Group Fitness Manager and lead on the project, said: “At Trilogy Active, Cripps Recreation Centre went through an eye opening refurbishment with state-of-the art TRUE Fitness equipment which has been well received by its staff and members. Brand new Alpine Runner Incline Trainers, treadmills, ellipticals, half racks and smith machine were installed to upgrade the facility.”

 

With its patented incline system and range of -3% to 30%, the Alpine Runner Incline Trainer offers varying resistances to customise workout intensity and create challenges for all fitness levels. It’s also engineered to minimise the load on the incline motor and reduce wear and tear.

 

Also installed was the ADX bike, Half Racks and Smith Machine, with four adjustable benches, dumbbells, plates and functional training equipment.

 

Daniel added: “We were impressed with the TRUE equipment line and what they had to offer, the Alpine Runner with up to 30% incline stood out significantly with the scientific studies to support the benefits of weight loss. The feedback from members has been incredible.

As part of the project, TRUE Fitness was also Principle Contractor and managed the refurbishment of the gym, studios and surrounding areas. This included the installation of new walls and ceilings, lighting and floor solutions, and support with 3D cads and walkthroughs.
